Quebec is for families. Why is that you might ask? Quebec is beautiful and is one of the largest populated provinces in Canada (for starters). But today we will be looking at 10 Things to do in Quebec with Kids. This is brought to you be Travelling Canucks.
1) Hot Air Balloon Ride. Picture going to where the grass really does seem greener. This is something you can truly see and appreciate in the Monteregie region of Quebec. Travelling Canucks said, “Watching the peaceful countryside slowly pass under the hot air balloon basket was a clear highlight from our trip to Quebec.”
2) Explore the treetops with Arbraska. Again in the Monteregie region, you will find the Arbraska adventure park where you and your children can explore. Travelling Canucks said, “When you arrive, the staff suits you up with a harness and gives a demonstration about how the ropes work and how your harness will keep you safe”. If this doesn’t shout “Quebec is for families” we don’t know what would.
3) Statera – the 104th Island (Monteregie). A multimedia exhibit like no other, this 3 part tour walks you through the 1,000-year history of the Sorel-Tracy region. Travelling Canucks mention that, “The three parts of the Statera experience include (1) an Interactive Journey, (2) 360 Dome Experience, and (3) three-hour cruise into the heart of the 103 Sorel Islands in the Lac Saint-Pierre archipelago.”
So that’s the first 3 in a list of 10 things to do in Quebec with your family. Make sure to check out the awesome Travelling Canucks blog for the rest of their tips. We hope that after reading this you will understand why we say Quebec is for families.
