A Dangerous Business
Humans love traveling; they also like control and agendas. The problem with that is that both more often than not contradict each other, and that’s what makes travel so beautiful…and messy too. Experiencing travel to its fullest extent means it’ll be unpredictable and the goal at the end of it all is to be caught off guard and swept off your feet as much as possible. After graduating high school and traveling to New Zealand for two weeks, the travel bug was officially caught. After that trip, another 50 countries across 6 continents soon followed and there is still room for so much more. Despite this insatiable appetite for adventure, the term of “full time traveler” is unfitting as after starting A Dangerous Business in 2010, a full time job has been in process, in school full time or working/freelancing at home. In the world of travel there is no such thing as “best” or “correct” way of doing it, whether it’s flying through thousands of miles or taking a few steps down the street–adventure is always around the corner and the possibility of discovering new is always there. Unlike many conventional travel bloggers, A Dangerous Business proves that there is no need to give up a “normal” and employed life to travel long-term and enjoy it to its fullest extent. There is definitely no need to quit your job, leave loved ones (and animals) behind in hopes of being a traveler. Travel teaches that the world is not a scary place as it is portrayed and that differences should be embraced while fully understood that they differentiate us less than we think. A Dangerous Business was created by an open mind for open minds and the many travel styles around. Every destination offers many thing, whether they’re signs or lessons–always know to pay attention in the quest for adventure.
