The open road, racing down 80MPH. The wind is blowing through the open windows and sunroof. The sounds of country folk are playing on your new car sound system. This is all something Megan Singleton and her family had going for her during her spectacular road trip from Nashville to Memphis to New Orleans. What makes a road trip like this even better? How about making it a music road trip?
That’s right, the theme of this road trip was music and food, and we can’t think of a better type of road trip in the US. Speaking of music and food the first day of their road trip was in Nashville. From there they went to see (or hear) Honkey Tonk Row. They allowed themselves to be immersed in Nashville’s famous music scene.
Then, of course, they went to get something to eat. They spent a couple more days in Nashville and then made their way to Memphis. Here they mixed music and food by going to the BB King Cafe. After a little while in Memphis, the group made their way to New Orleans, which was a six-hour drive. Of course, their time in NO was spent mostly with the amazing Jazz scene. We’ve skipped a whole lot of this food and music road trip, but that’s because we want you to read the rest of the details for yourself.
