- Planning your stay. Planning your trip is hard enough, but you also have to think about where you will be staying with your baby and if the people you will be staying with will be accommodating to the baby. Who are these people, are they friends or family? Do they know how to handle a baby in the house and do you trust them to help care for the baby?
- Do a pre-dive safety check. Make sure your car is good to go before you go. This includes checking your tires, making sure you’re oiled up and that all your lights and indicators are working. This might be a long drive. You don’t want any issues that take away your attention from the road and your baby.
