RV In Europe

We spoke a bit before about RVing in Canada, but what about if we wanted to rent or buy an RV in Europe? Do you have had to pay for all those high insurance prices? Do you have to just accept the negatives of buying a new RV in Europe? Is there a better way? Well according to libertatemamo there is. They say that “Whether you’re coming to Europe for a short vacay or a longer stay there are options for both renting and buying an RV in Europe (yes, even if you’re a non-resident!) that can get you rolling down the European backroads in no time at all.” For example, there is some really useful key renting tips like the following:

1) The age of the car matters because a newer RV is going to be more expensive than an older one. 2) Diesel is a better gas option because it is normally cheaper than gas in the EU.
3) Manual is the standard in Europe so unless you need to drive Automatic we’d recommend you stick with manual. You should also look at the country you’re going to and really shop around for the best price.
4) Seasons are important and you might want to “consider RVing” during a time when fewer people are going to do the same. You can save “almost 1/3 of the price”.
5) Also, check restrictions when making a purchase. One of the last things you want to do is get hit with a huge insurance claim or extra taxes. Does this list interest you?
