Wandermum
Elizabeth, the travel junkie mum of two works to prove that it’s still possible to travel whilst having two kids, a 1 and a 4 year old. Liz does it all, following her 4 year exploration with her daughter she just had another, who already experienced her first travel while only being 6 weeks old. No one other than Liz and her husband expected to go through so many travels with their little ones. To many, covering Asia, Middle East, Europe and the U.S with one daughter would be an obstacle, to the Wandermum and her husband, getting a second baby daughter just became another facet of their wandering life. Though there are the anticipated obstacles, the couple goes to show that it’s very much possible to have a great time with kids in their plight to show them the world, get many great memories and educate not only themselves but many viewers about the world and the cultures surrounding it. The Wandermum aims to prove those with doubts and who say that their wanderlust filled lifestyle would have to change wrong–because their lifestyle would not have to completely change. Along the many blog posts, like the 3 day Hong Kong itinerary with kids or the Nordic road trip through Oslo, the couple share their discoveries regarding challenges and rewards. Seeking out fun and interesting places for the whole family, Liz writes about what to do in the areas they visit and how to enjoy it with kids. Often providing pros and cons to their travels regarding if its worth the trip with kids or not, Wandermum proves to be a useful and fruitful resource for all moms or parents yearning to travel but feel blocked by their kids. Whenever they travel from place to place, Liz ascertains how family friendly a place can really be, and what specific activities one can do with their kids.
